I promised to check on the details for the TI summer institute at the Exploratorium. Here is more information from Anna Rochester, our always helpful program coordinator (annar@exploratorium.edu).

“In a nut shell, teachers apply around early Feb (application downloaded from website), we let them know of their acceptance by early May, the institutes begin end of June and go through mid of July. And we pay the teachers for their time ( 4 weeks = 110 hours at $10/hr). ”
