About the Summer Camp Staff
Anne Richardson
Summer Camp Director
This is Anne’s fifth year directing the Exploratorium summer camp. During the school year, she manages the school field trip program. Anne holds an MS in Enviromental Education and is currently pursuing a PhD in Science Education. She loves the summer camp because it’s a great way to include kids in the excitement of being at the Exploratorium everyday.
Sylvia Algire
Assistant Manager
Sylvia’s background is in art and informal education. During the school year, she works with the school field trips and has been teaching our weekend classes for members. Sylvia holds a BA in Art Education with a focus on Digital and New Media Arts.
Summer Camp Counselors
The summer camp staff members are experienced educators from Field Trip Explainer team. During the school year, their primary focus is working with kids visiting the Exploratorium on school field trips. We are also assisted by an excellent crew of Explainers from the High School Explainer department.
