removing garlic smell from hands (Read 12088 times)

Wow! Garlic won't be the same for me from today. One thing for sure, I can't think of cooking without adding some garlic to it.

Hum lot of interesting things here. I always find myself washing my hands a few times before the smell is gone. Will definatly try some of these things.

I was always told that rubbing salt on your hands removes the smell of garlic. Seems to work. Anyone know why?

I use to wash my hands with washing-up liquid, usually it helps.

Great tips. I sometimes have to use gloves because I could never get the smell off. I will try the steel idea tonight.

My grandma used to have a piece of stainless steel in a shape of soap that she used to rub her hands with. Cool

There is a great soap at Trader Joes that helps with this... Forgot name. Yellow bottle.

I now just go the prevention route and use latex gloves.

Antibacterial soap is good for getting rid of garlic smells on your hands.
