Dark chocolate is uniquely high in potent, heart-healthy flavonol antioxidants. Plus, there is less sugar contained in it due to the high concentration of cocoa solids.

I am reading everywhere that sugar is the source of many diseases and premature skin aging that's why I try to avoid it as much as possible. But when I crave for a sweet, dark chocolate is the best way to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Watch out though, dark chocolate could be 40% or 90% I go for over 70% cocoa solids.

I heard that 75% or higher dark chocolate helps lower blood pressure

Small amounts of dark chocolate have been shown to help with so many health problems. Dark chocolate has less sugar and more antioxidants than milk chocolate. Now, the problem is stopping with just a small amount. LOL I love dark chocolate and eating just one small piece a day is not easy.

Chocolate is food that make you feel good, it is because, according to some studies, it boost the release of dopamine in the brain. However, do note that only dark chocolate is good for health. Milk chocolate and white chocolate contain high content of sugar and is fattening.

Some studies have shown that it can reduce high blood pressure, keep your blood flowing, and your heart healthy, just as long as you don't eat too much of it of course! Smiley

A long line of research showed that having chocolates help in the proper circulation of blood. I however say that too much of everything is bad for health so it is always best to do this in moderation.
