1. Fill a pot with water.
2. Add as much sugar as possible to the water. You'll be able to add a lot.
3. Heat the water, stirring often.
4. Once the water has come to a boil, add more sugar. You'll learn why this is possible soon.
5. After you've added as much sugar as possible to the boiling water, turn off the heat, and quickly stick a wooden dowel into the hot water.
6. As the water cools, the excess sugar will collect on the dowel.
7. Once the water is as cold as it started, remove the dowel, and enjoy.

Three tips for Shelby:

Put your subject in the Subject line. That way, folks will know what you want without having to open it to see, saving them lots of wasted time.

While emphasis may be good in drama, too many exclamation points are bad etiquette on the internet. Save them up for important things.

Lastly, NEVER try to get someone else to do your scientific experimenting for you, or help them to do so. This is lazy, as well as poor scientific training, and keeps you from actually learning anything with much depth. For more on this, read Richard Feynman's great book, "Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!"
