Here is the recipe for ice-cream:

         2 Cups half-n-half
         1 Cup whipping cream
1 Cup milk or chocolate milk

         1 Cup sugar

1 vanilla bean , split an scraped
         1 pinch salt

Cook untill it simmers and then chill in the refridgerator about 6 hours and then put in your ice-cream maker. So good!
(a good place for cheap $ vanilla beans www.amadeusvanillabeans.com)

Throw some cookie D's on it! I've never actually done this before but my mom used to make ice cream when I was a child and I want to do it myself. Any churning advice?

I eat ice cream way faster than I could ever make it so this wouldn't work for me.   Cheesy

If you buy a ice cream maker it should have a few reciepes for it. They can make more than vanillia and you can even try making your own recipes.
