Do not any body let you believe that 100% teff decent injera can only be done in Ethiopia
If you can put you heart to it & do not give up, you can do it any where in the world. No need to add yeast or self-rising flour.

My wife bake good injera, but the taste and aroma is not like the injera we knew it back home. I will print the recipe from you post on your blog. I will like to show it to my wife. Your recipe promised the taste and aroma of the real injera. I hope my wife will do that. She really is a good cook.

I am not against using self rising flour or other flour for that matter. I mean the price, the convenience & more. What I am saying is that, nothing beats the real teff injera. And more over,When teff is used to make injera, a short fermentation process allows the yeast to generate more vitamins. If you follow my recipe no need to add self rising flour , baking powder/soda or commercial yeast which alter the real taste & texture of teff injera.
Good luck

I am such a fan of Injera!! I tried the recipe myself, and oh my god!! It smelled great! I must have mistaken some part, cause it did smell good, but didn't taste that good. No worries I will try it again.

How is Ed hardy related to cooking or Injera!!

However, the last time I said that my Injera did not taste as good. Now I have tried it again with a better kind of flor, and guess what, it was awesome. So anyone wanting it to give a try - make sure you use good flour.

I agree the taste is better if you do not use the baking soda and yeast. You could put your blog in signature so people to go to it.
