stop English Toffee from Sticking to your teeth
07/30/09 at 13:02:55

I have been making english toffee for years and the comments i always get is that this is the best toffee people have tasted and it does not stick to your teeth.  However, recently I had a few people say that it sticks to their teeth.  Ouch...I cannot have this with my candy business.  Can any experianced candy cook tell me what I can do to prevent this.  I have heard that if you add a couple tbsp of white corn syrup this can prevent this.  Help...

Well, I'm sure your more of an expert than me  - but I always thought if it gets too sticky it's because it's not being heated to the right temperature.

I also heard it from a friend, that white corn syrup will reduce it.
