You could try the 'placebo effect' by using a smaller plate. This means that it will still look full whilst containing less.

Eat more fruit, vegetables and oatmeal for breakfast.
And go in for sport, of course!

I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but Activia works really well for me. Everything flows, you know.

not any specific type of food can reduce the amount of fat in your stomach, it doesn't quite work that way.

Losing fat in a certain spot isn't possible.  You lose fat where your body decides to take it off, and the stomach is usually the last place.

To lose weight you need to eat less calories than your body uses in a day, and some foods of course can be good at doing that, moreso than others.  Eating lean meats and veggies will definitely help.  Stay away from complex carbs and fats.

I'm having really good results following a high protein, slow-carb diet six days a week, and having one day where I can eat anything I want.

In my honest opinion, i don't think that the ammount of food will assure a flat stomach. My wife is on a very strict diet, but if she does not put in some work in exercises it doesn't matter how strict the diet is. I personally bike a lot. I can have all that P's (pasta, pizza. potatoes etc.) i want and still have a flat stomach. Just put in some effort and keep doing exercises on a regular base.

best foods are clean protein and lots of fresh veggies.

More about the worst foods - SUGAR!, simple carbs, sugar, dairy, sugar, corn syrup, and mostly sugar!

Stay away from sugar and you won't have to worry so much about getting fat. Ironically eating fat is much better for you than eating sugar.

I didn't realise that sugar was worse than fat. Why is this?

Yes,try to stay away from sugar. The body stores sugar as fat. All sugar is stored as fat and mostly around the midsection.

Ok so the body stores sugar as fat but if you eat fatty foods does the body not store any of the fat contained in them?
