Usually when my child reach  age 6 month I start giving him rice.
Firstly you cook rice as usual using rice cooker. Then blend it along with water using blender.
Don't forget to add sugar and salt to the rice before you start blending it.

Well I hope you all can try the simple method to prepare baby meal

Do you think a 6 month old child will eat rise with no taste?
As an idea: why not use honey instead of sugar? is better for health especially for little children  Cheesy

Children are not supposed to have honey until at least 1 year of age.  I have even heard 18 months-2 years is better.  Not sure why, but might not be the best idea to add sugar or honey.  Add a naturally sweetened fruit instead.

You could try adding peaches to sweeting it. It should be better than sugar and salt.

I think adding the banna is a good idea. It has some good things for the baby and it would taste better with it.

Mini Jelly Roll for Toddlers

Super Quick Mini Jelly Roll for Toddlers

Take a slice of un-toasted whole grain bread. Remove crusts. (Use crusts for bread crumbs. See section on how to save money by grinding your own bread crumbs from those end slices that no one ever eats.)

Spread with all fruit no-sugar-added jelly or jam. Roll bread up as you would a sleeping bag. Stab with a skinny carrot or celery stick or toothpick to keep from unrolling.

Instead of, or in addition to, the jelly, use peanut butter, cream cheese, tahini, humus, or any sandwich spread.

I try to not place any salt or sugar in a baby foods. I usually replace them for analog food, honey=sugar, lemon juice=salt, etc
